#9 Harbor Club Towers – Marina District

Aerial view of Harbor Club condos in downtown San Diego Marina

Although this was one of the very first luxury high rise condos in downtown San Diego (1992 completion date), Harbor Club San Diego still maintains one of the most prestigious addresses in town. Right on the southern edge of the Marina District Harbor Club enjoys a terrific location with entertainment and dining options right out your door in the Gaslamp District. Morton’s steakhouse is located on the retail space below at the Harbor Club Towers.

Most units at Harbor Club enjoy unobstructed views of the bay and those in the southern side above floor 15th have some of the best Bay views in San Diego. Condos at Harbor Club enjoy views of Coronado island and the bridge to the South, the bay to the west for some beautiful sunsets and units facing North and East offer some great city and mountain views.

Amenities at Harbor Club San Diego Condos are typical for a full service luxury building. Gym, Pool (lap pool sized) and Dry Sauna. Tanning deck with outdoor seating and BBQ area and a community room for functions and events equipped with a full kitchen. Concierge and Security.

You might find that some units at Harbor Club are a bit dated and need some remodeling in the Kitchen and Bathroom areas, but if you can live with that or get lucky and find a remodeled unit then Harbor Club San Diego should definitely be considered in your San Diego luxury condo or apartment search.

#10 Park Place – Marina District

Park Place condominium complex in San Diego downtown

Park Place San Diego Condos has arguably one of the best locations in San Diego. Right on the southwestern edge of downtown San Diego, many units at Park Place enjoy terrific 270 degree views of the bay.

Just a block to the bay, across the street from seaport village and about 8 blocks to the Gaslamp District Park Place San Diego has a privileged location for getting access to a great variety of dining, entertainment and outdoor activity options.

There is nothing really special about the actual condos finishes at Park Place as delivered by the developer when originally built as compared to condos at Bayside, The Pinnacle or The Metropolitan for instance.

However, some units that have been remodeled or upgraded after market are true contenders for being some of the best among all downtown San Diego condos. This building offers some of the nicest views that I have seen in San Diego being just a block away from the bay and mostly unobstructed by other buildings. Another plus of Park Place is that lower floor units facing south also enjoy terrific view of the water since there is nothing really blocking them across the street. This is a big plus as compared to many other San Diego luxury condos that have no views whatsoever or very limited views from the lower floors.

Amenities are what you would expect in a building of this caliber built by BOSA. Concierge & security. Gym, pool and community room for events and functions.

#11 The Mark – East Village District

The Mark condominium complex in downtown San Diego

The Mark San Diego is a terrific luxury condo building. The design of the complex itself is terrific with a great variety of floor plans and fantastic common areas.

The Mark San Diego Condos offer an industrial feel with exposed concrete and high ceilings on a variety of floor plans. Condos and Penthouses on the higher floors enjoy terrific views of not just the bay but the city lights, Coronado and the mountains. The condos are very nicely finished as originally delivered by the developer.

Amenities are excellent. Concierge services and security 24 hrs. Gym, conference room, pool and spa. It also has a courtyard with an extensive grass area (unique to this building) and 3 different BBQ areas.

The location of The Mark is quite nice. About two blocks away from the ballpark and just 4 blocks to the Gaslamp District. If walk-ability is extremely important to you then The Mark should be on your list of properties to look into.

#12 The Legend – East Village District

The Legend condo tower in San Diego's East Village

The Legend San Diego luxury condo building literally sits within the boundaries of Petco Park. If you are a baseball fan then there will not be any better choice than The Legend San Diego Condos. Right on the western edge of the East Village in downtown San Diego, The Legend San Diego has hundreds of dining and entertainment options right out your door. Just 1 block away is the Gaslamp District. The East Village itself has also great amenities to enjoy and is growing by the day.

Condos at The Legend are very well finished using some of the best appliances and fixtures around. Typical for a BOSA Development high rise, The Legend offers quality condos, great amenities and a very desirable location.

Amenities are some of the best in San Diego. Concierge, security, gym, pool, sauna & steam. The Legend also has a 7th floor indoor community room equipped with a full kitchen and TV and a huge outdoor deck overlooking Petco Park that is set up with lounge chairs, fire pits, an outdoor TV & entertainment system and a full kitchen with bar. This is by far the best community deck in San Diego and one of the very few that consistently attracts residents to use it. Here you will definitely get to know your neighbors.
