San Diego Convention Center Rooftop Park

Upon completion of the San Diego Convention Center’s Phase III Expansion Project, attendees and locals will be able to enjoy festivals, community events, public art, relaxing gardens and spectacular views atop the convention center in a brand new five-acre rooftop park.

The 5 acre park will add to the variety of green spaces available in downtown including the San Diego Waterfront Park, Ruocco Park, The Embarcadero Marina South Park, Pantoja Park and The Park at Petco Park.

The main features of this waterfront park include:

  • 350 Seat, 5,000 Sq Ft Pavillion with a main stage allowing events of all sizes
  • Central gathering area with shade and benches
  • Reading room
  • Coastal chaparral: a garden area complete with vegetation and landscape representative of California

There will be 7 access points to the park including elevators, a pedestrian ramp and stairs. This will also serve to enhance public access to the bay front.

This is great news for resident of downtown San Diego condos as it will add to the beauty of the city and contribute much needed green space to our community.
