#1 – Pacific Gate – Columbia District

Pacific Gate by BOSA Building in San Diego

Pacific Gate by BOSA was built in 2018 and once it opened its doors it redefined luxury high rise living in downtown San Diego. The first “super prime” tower in San Diego offering amazing architecture, best custom finishes and top of the line appliances and fixtures such as Wolf, SubZero and Miele.

Pacific Gate is located on the heart of the Columbia District just a block away from the Broadway Pier and right across the street from the new Biotech Campus that will transform the San Diego waterfront. One of downtown San Diego’s top rated restaurants, Animae, recently opened its doors in one of the the retail spaces below Pacific Gate.

Future potential for the Columbia District is incredible and with no doubts it is the best place to invest in the city with all the redevelopment projects already taking place in downtown San Diego (or planned for the near future) in excess of $3 billion.

Pacific Gate amenities are like no other with the typical front desk attendant, fitness center, pool, spa, sauna & steam and lounge room. Pacific Gate also offers a screening room and a guest suite. Where Pacific Gate stands out as being the only building that offers such service and amenity is with the luxury car fleet (4 Mercedes Benz vehicles) and the yacht that is available for residents to use. Pacific Gate also has a chef concierge that can make restaurant reservations and assist with other tasks.

#2 – Savina – Little Italy District

Savina by BOSA building in San Diego Little Italy

Savina by BOSA is the newest luxury building in downtown San Diego completed in 2019.

Located in arguably the best location in downtown, right at the edge of Little Italy and Columbia District offering the best of both worlds, proximity to India street in Little Italy where the best restaurants in San Diego are located and just a block to the San Diego bay.

Amenities are also arguably the best in the city with a front desk attendant, fitness center, yoga deck, pool, sauna & steam, outdoor grilling area, community room with TV’s, billiards and a full  kitchen and a huge flat screen with cable connection. There is also a pet retreat, pet washing stations, bicycle repair and washing stations. Truly amenities that are tailored to today’s urban living needs.

Savina’s location also makes this building one of the winners that will benefit the most with the new development of the biotech campus project that is already underway on the south west end of the Columbia District.

Savina’s location and the height restrictions of the buildings and lots around it make it one of the few buildings with protected views of the San Diego bay, specially the 01 and 02 floor plans that face NW.

#3 – Bayside – Columbia District

Bayside San Diego Condos enjoy  a waterfront location and some of the best finishes including best in class appliances, cabinetry and closets (Viking, Miele, Snaidero, California Closets). Amenities are fantastic with a gym, pool, sauna & steam, outdoor grilling area, community room with TV’s, billiards and a full  kitchen and a movie theater with cable connection. There is even a conference rooms that can hold easy 12 people and a reading room on the second floor. Security and concierge services.

Bayside’s location is very convenient being close to many restaurant and entertainment options in Little Italy and of course all the new additions to the waterfront such as The Brigantine and Animae.  It is also remarkable for having easy access to the main highways connecting North and East. The airport is just 5 minutes away and just a block away from Bayside is the bay.

As far as future potential goes, the Columbia District is the place to be with the North Embarcadero Visionary Plan fully becoming a reality, Manchester Pacific Gateway underway and the Seaport Village to be redeveloped in the near future which will add even more infrastructure, amenities, green space and outstanding landscaping to the area.

About 4 blocks away is Little Italy and the amazing restaurants and coffee shops within India Street. Seaport Village within the Marina District is about 8 blocks away. Gaslamp is about 16 blocks away.

If you are interested in San Diego Luxury High Rise Living then Bayside  by BOSA should be on top of your list of properties to visit.

#4 The Metropolitan – East Village District

The Metropolitan San Diego East Village Condo Tower

The Metropolitan San Diego Condos are conveniently located right at the intersection of the East Village and Gaslamp Districts. Since The Metropolitan Condos are in reality the luxury residences on top of the Omni Hotel you can expect hotel level amenities (gym, two pools, sauna) and the best services around (room service, dry cleaning, maid service, etc). HOA’s are high ($1,500 +) but if you don’t mind paying them you can get some of the best amenities among all downtown San Diego condominiums.

Location is fantastic. Just out your door you can find hundreds of dining options at the Gaslamp District. Just one block away is Petco Park and just a few block away the Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge that will cross you over to the opposite side of Harbor Drive where you can access the San Diego Bay, Seaport Village and the hotel row including the Marriott Marina, Manchester Hyatt and The Hilton Hotel.

The units at The Metropolitan San Diego are spacious and well appointed. Its very rare to find a condo for sale under $1.5 million since all condos are spacious and located on high floors that will offer panoramic views of the bay, the city and/or the ball park.
